I am a ceramic artist working in stoneware. I completed my BA (hons) in Fine Art at the University of Northumbria at Newcastle specialising in Painting. I then went on to study painting at the Royal College of Art for my MA. Leaving in 2000.

I combined a painting and teaching career until I moved to East Sussex where I started evening classes in ceramics in 2007. Since then my practise is predominantly ceramics based, although the motifs and methods predominant in my ceramics remain consistent with the themes I explored in my paintings.

I am a tutor at Forest Row School of Ceramics, working part time on their three month, full time residential course.
